In New York

Filed under: Places — Cory @ 12:37 am

Well, we made it here. It’s 12:30am and Alana is still dancing here at the 92nd street YMCA in New York City. Fortunately they have an open wireless network here, and I brought along my iBook (with it’s nice 5+ hour battery life), so I’ve been playing around on the ‘net since about 9 when we got here.

Tomorrow we are going to a mandolin shop in Staten Island that sells Gibson mandolins, so I am pretty excited about that. Sometime tomorrow evening we are driving to Philadelphia to another dance session. After that I have no idea what we are doing.

Drivers in New York City are crazy.

  1. I drove up there for the gates thing in Central Park a couple of weeks ago and was amazed by the drivers. If you are as crazy as they are you will be okay though.

  2. Yea, we are riding around with Alana’s friends, who are natives. I’m very scared.
